The EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award Ceremony is Brazil's most important Entrepreneur award, realized in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. Hoffmann company hired me to start a project of a huge projection mapping in Ilha Fiscal building, one of the most beautiful historical buildings of the city, located at the middle of Guanabara's bay. The Ilha Fiscal gala hosted 400 VIPs and award finalists. The Hoffmann team deployed eight Panasonic PT-DZ21K2 projectors for the event.

FIRST STEP : 3D SCANNING
At very beginning, the entire building facade was scanned using high-end professional 3d scanners. The result was a 3d file with millions of points.

SECOND STEP : RETOPOLOGY
After the scanning process, was started the process of reconstruction of 3d mesh using all scanned points as reference to reach a precise elements position.

3d Retopology: using a 3d software, the entire facade was modeled using the 3d scanned points as reference.

THIRD STEP : 3D UNWRAP MAPPING FOR D3 SOFTWARE
After the modeling process, was started the process of construction of 3d maps to insert in D3 projection mapping software.

3d Unwrap mapping: using a 3d software, was created several reference maps as alignment parameters to Panasonic PT-DZ21K2 projectors.
